Artist Note

If we set the order of priority while keeping our lives, the top priority is ruling our family well. People who don’t rule their home and family cannot usually handle other things. Keeping home well is the beginning of everything and fundamental to a social organization, which is the most primitive. Thus, I try to deliver my message with various objects and colors, creating works related to my family.

I express comfort through ‘a house,’ progressive spirit and leaping members of the family through ‘horses,’ and free but whispering children through ‘birds’ and deliver the importance of the family that lives in harmony together instead of alone through the above objects.
 
The essence of the message I want to deliver is relatively simple. This is because the dissolution of the family is socially very serious due to hectic city life, and I felt uneasy, thinking of the next generation. Modern people are very confused like people trapped in a maze. However, there surely is hope. Not clinging to gloomy relationships, but concentrating on ‘family,’ which is intrinsically valuable to us brightly and positively. For we wait for each other.
I want to give the message of hope to modern people through the hint that this frustrating and painful reality will also pass, so I illustrate the family and the members of the family.
